Role Overview:
As an Account Executive at Applicantz, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our company’s growth through new business development. Your blend of strategic thinking, sales expertise, and passion for education will enable you to effectively identify opportunities for growth, run effective sales meetings, and close deals while contributing significantly to our expansion. Your tenacity, sales acumen, and organization will be crucial in fostering strong partnerships that amplify our reach and impact. Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Run effective sales meetings, set by our sales development team, and manage the sales cycle from meetings run to proposal to closed deal & onboarding.
- Exceed monthly sales & activity targets in line with our revenue growth plan
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to effectively position Applicantz solutions to prospective customers
- Work closely with our partnerships, marketing, product development, and servicing teams
- Input all activity in CRM and report on sales performance analytics
Who You Are:
- Experienced: You bring 3+ years of proven experience in new business sales experience, with a preference for backgrounds in the education, financial services, and fintech sectors.
- Strategic: Your understanding of blueprinting, large account strategy, and market dynamics allow you to successfully position solutions and win business with Enterprise customers and/or large schools
- Communicative: Exceptional data gathering, presentation, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are your forte, enabling you to build lasting relationships.
- Driven: A self-starter mentality and results-oriented attitude drive your success in reaching and surpassing ambitious goals.
- Team Player: You thrive in collaborative environments and contribute proactively to the team’s success.
- Educated: Holding a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient: You have managed your sales activity & pipeline in a CRM and have experience using sales productivity tools.
- Agile: You are able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $110K Total Target Compensation ($70K base + $35K bonus) + Equity
